Em outros pa\u00edses, como nos Estados Unidos a comemora\u00e7\u00e3o acontece em 14 de fevereiro, Dia de S\u00e3o Valentim, Valentine\u2019s Day, em ingl\u00eas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A comemora\u00e7\u00e3o da data no Brasil teve como idealizador o empres\u00e1rio Jo\u00e3o D\u00f3ria, pai do ex-governador paulista, que em 1949 criou uma campanha publicit\u00e1ria sugerindo que o dia 12 de junho como uma data para demonstrar amor ao parceiro por meio de presentes. O slogan da campanha era: \u201cN\u00e3o \u00e9 s\u00f3 com beijos que se prova o amor\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>S\u00c3O VALENTIM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A comemora\u00e7\u00e3o desta data remonta ao&nbsp;Imp\u00e9rio Romano. Um bispo da Igreja Cat\u00f3lica, S\u00e3o Valentim, foi proibido de realizar casamentos pelo imperador romano Cl\u00e1udio II.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O motivo da proibi\u00e7\u00e3o era que o imperador queria formar um grande e poderoso ex\u00e9rcito e acreditava que os jovens que n\u00e3o tivessem fam\u00edlia ou esposa, iam se alistar com maior facilidade.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>O bispo, no entanto, desrespeitou a ordem imperial e continuou com as celebra\u00e7\u00f5es de matrim\u00f4nio, de modo secreto. &nbsp;Mas, foi preso pelos soldados e condenado \u00e0 morte.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conta a hist\u00f3ria que, quando S\u00e3o Valentim estava na pris\u00e3o, recebeu v\u00e1rios bilhetes e cart\u00f5es, de jovens apaixonados, valorizando o amor, a paix\u00e3o e o casamento. O bispo Valentim foi decapitado em 14 de fevereiro do ano 270.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AMOR \u00c9 CEGO?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Havia, entre as pessoas que jogaram mensagens ao bispo, uma jovem cega, Art\u00e9rias, filha do carcereiro. Art\u00e9rias teve a permiss\u00e3o do pai para visitar Valentim. Os dois acabaram se apaixonando e,&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Milagre\"><strong>milagrosamente<\/strong><\/a><strong>, a jovem recuperou a vis\u00e3o.
